Ernie Els & Fancourt Foundation
After establishing Fancourt as South Africa's premier golf resort, owners Hasso and Sabine Plattner, along with their daughters Tina and Steffi, committed themselves to the upliftment and advancement of disadvantaged communities in George and the Southern Cape.
In 2005, they joined forces with the Ernie Els Foundation to create the Ernie Els & Fancourt Foundation, in order to give talented young players who come from families with limited resources, an opportunity to develop their game at the highest possible level.
The Ernie Els & Fancourt Foundation has 33 young golfers involved in the Foundation for 2010.
