Fancourt Non-residential Annual Membership

Fancourt continues to offer Annual Membership to members of the public

In 2009, Fancourt launched a category of Annual Membership, which was made available to non-Fancourt property owners in a limited number, allowing members of the public and corporate entities to enjoy the resort's magnificent golf and leisure facilities. Due to the popularity of this option, the decision has been made to continue this category of membership into the 2010-2011 financial year.

As Fancourt’s Chief Operating Officer, Niall O’Hagan explains, “The opening of a limited number of Non-residential Annual Member slots allows us to introduce new people to our club without in any way diminishing the availability of facilities for our residential members. The club has a substantial infrastructure that remains comparatively under-utilised.”

Fancourt Non-residential Annual Membership for 2010-2011 is now available from just R28,000 per annum, depending on the member’s requirements. Further golfing add-ons are available, making it possible to add golf options for family members over and above the principal member. The membership period runs from 01 April 2010 to 31 March 2011, so as to coincide with Fancourt's financial year.

Apart from the difference that this membership category lapses annually and needs to be reapplied for at the discretion of the club, Non-residential Annual Members will enjoy equivalent rights with those of Residential Members.

If ever there was a time to become a member of Africa’s Leading Golf Resort*, now is it! The first European Senior Tour event to be staged in South Africa, the Berenberg Bank Masters, will be held at the Fancourt Links from 26-28 March 2010, and the resort will also be hosting the Japanese football team during the 2010 Football World Cup!

Applications for Non-residential Annual Membership can be downloaded from www.fancourt.com or obtained on request by emailing rosalieh@fancourt.co.za. For more information, please call Rosalie on 044 804 0143. Terms and Conditions apply.

* Fancourt was voted Africa’s Leading Golf Resort at the 2009 World Travel Awards, for the sixth time since 2001.
